Hello, I'm Nabila. I'm a home baker, a mum of three and a grandmother.
Nabila, founder of ZUKR
Before ZUKR I spent more than twenty years working with families: as a midwife, as a research nurse and in community projects. Again and again I saw how much guilt so many of us carry around food. The extra slice. The birthday cake. The treat we tell ourselves we shouldn't have.
I wanted cake to feel like joy again.
So I started rebuilding our family favourites, one by one, without the sugar. Victoria sponge for Sunday tea. Strawberry cupcakes for the grandchildren. My mum's orange and almond cake. ZUKR is what made it possible.

ZUKR is a British, woman-led brand with one simple mission: to make positive lifestyle changes easy for families. We're a small team, led by me, and we believe sweet things should be for everyone at the table.
What we make
ZUKR is organic erythritol. It's one ingredient, plant-based and zero calories.
Erythritol is found naturally in fruits like pears and grapes; ours is made by naturally fermenting organic plant starch, then crystallising it. Nothing added.
It bakes like sugar, with a clean taste and no lingering aftertaste, and it's certified organic by Organic Farmers & Growers (GB-ORG-02).
